Hong Kong SAR / Materials Engineer
I’m a materials engineer in Hong Kong, currently working on wearable products at Shokz. I care about the point where a material choice becomes something a user can feel: fit, surface, stability, comfort, cost, and what still works after the product leaves a test bench.

I’m not trying to show every task. I keep these three public cases because they show how I make materials decisions: reduce cost without losing the product, judge stability from body context, and use characterization to narrow the next decision.
A 43% coating-expense reduction case: not picking the cheaper input, but separating requirements that protect the product from habits that only protect the process.
A stability case that starts from the body: fit, sweat, storage, glasses, repeated handling, pressure over time, and what the user notices when the product is no longer new.
A characterization case about naming the blocked decision first, then choosing what to measure, what to compare, and when to stop chasing a weak signal.
Field note
My first half marathon taught me more than a short trial could: fit with glasses, stability after sweat, awareness in noise, and comfort after more than two hours of use.
